Exam Item Challenge Blog:

A candidate’s feedback is paramount to EC-Council certification exams. If the candidate believes a specific exam part is incorrect, they can challenge or request an evaluation. No stone is left unturned to ensure the candidate’s satisfaction.

How does a candidate initiate the exam item challenge process?

The candidate needs to fill out the EC-Council Exam Feedback Form in detail and sign it. An in-depth and clear description of the challenge will help expedite the review process. No candidate’s challenge of the exam items will be considered unless the form has been completed.

When and where should the candidate submit the form?

The form should be submitted within 3 calendar days from the exam date to [email protected] with the subject line “Exam Item Evaluation.” Only requests received within 3 working days of the exam’s administration will be reviewed

Can all the exam items that are being challenged be submitted together?

No, the candidate must fill out a separate form for each exam they are challenging.

What information will a candidate receive on the item challenge by EC-Council?

EC-Council will acknowledge receipt of the request by email. This may include a conclusive evaluation result or an estimated time for the evaluation process to be completed and results to be shared with the candidate.
