With a foundational Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, he diligently honed his skills through a Master’s certificate in Cybersecurity, complemented by postgraduate certificate in Information Systems Security In his relentless pursuit of knowledge, he achieved significant certifications, including C|CT, CyberArk Certified Trustee, CertiProf Certified Cyber Security Foundation Professional, and Palo Alto Cybersecurity Infrastructure Configuration.

Professionally, he navigated through a diverse array of roles, transitioning from Software Engineer to the esteemed positions of Application Security Analyst and Engineer. Notably recognized as “Employee of the Month” twice, he adeptly undertook pivotal responsibilities. Employing tools such as SonarQube for Static Application Security Testing (SAST), he swiftly identified and rectified code vulnerabilities, thereby fortifying application security.

Moreover, he actively engaged in red team events, simulating adversarial tactics to fortify organizational security measures and enhance resilience against potential cyber threats. His role also encompassed comprehensive secure code reviews of new software releases, ensuring compliance with security standards and the early identification and resolution of vulnerabilities in the development cycle.

Beyond the professional sphere, his passion for technology extended into personal interests. A strong commitment to continuous learning propelled him to frequently explore new cybersecurity courses and engage in creating online educational content. Born in Serian, Sarawak, I developed a passion for computer programming at the age of 8. The intrigue of computer security gripped me at the age of 13, catalyzed by a friend’s introduction. In 2014, I embarked on my tech career, earning a Diploma in Computer Science from Mara University of Technology (UiTM). Notably, during my Diploma years, I actively participated in and completed the 12-Hour Forensic Challenge Competition in 2013.

Fast forward to 2023, I proudly obtained a bachelor’s degree from Mara University of Technology (UiTM). With over 7 years of specialized expertise in networking security, I’ve matured into a seasoned cybersecurity solution architect. My professional aspirations revolve around continuous skill enhancement, making significant contributions to the cybersecurity landscape, and empowering organizations in their defense against cyber threats. As I strive to become an invaluable asset, my goal is to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity protection, fortifying the digital domains of organizations.

Ivan Vinogradov

Ivan Vinogradov

Ivan is a blue-team cybersecurity practitioner based in Europe and specializing in security management, operations, and consulting. For the last seven years, he has worked in a broad range of environments ranging from OT to Cloud and has helped to strengthen security controls within many different industries – from finance to critical infrastructure. Professionally, he is motivated by promoting a better understanding of cyber risk, raising general awareness of cyber threats, and advancing the quality of communication within the field.

In his free time, Ivan enjoys jogging, reading and of course, learning about technology – besides his personal projects, he holds the CISSP, CISM, CISA and GCED certifications, among several others.

Julio Bandeira de Melo

Julio Bandeira de Melo is a highly accomplished cybersecurity professional with 15+ years of experience in the field. His career has been marked by his ability to leverage industry frameworks, tools, and best practices to deliver world-class threat detection and incident response capabilities.

Currently, Julio holds a managerial role at one of the largest professional services firms, where he leads the development and implementation of cutting-edge security operations and incident response strategies. With a Level III (Top Secret) Security Clearance from the Government of Canada, he is recognized for his leadership in managing high-performing teams and aligning security objectives with business goals.

Julio’s extensive consulting background spans diverse sectors, including crown corporations, high-tech corporations, financial services, energy and utilities, oil and gas, government, healthcare, retail, and educational institutions. His expertise extends to advanced forensic investigations, breach detection, and incident response.

A lifelong passion for technology and cybersecurity has driven Julio’s success. He has been using Linux operating systems since the mid-90s and holds degrees in Computer Science and Law (LL.B), along with a diploma in financial management. His impressive list of certifications from ISACA, EC-Council, (ISC)², attests to his commitment to staying at the forefront of the cybersecurity field.

Originally from Brazil, Julio now resides in the stunning Canadian province of Alberta, in Calgary, with his wife and two wonderful children. His leadership, financial acumen, regulatory compliance knowledge, and deep understanding of Security Operations Centers (SOC) make him a valuable asset in the ever-evolving realm of cybersecurity.

IT & Security Systems Integrator

Oleg Shimanski is an IT & Security Systems Integrator, specialized in Homeland Security, working for a big company with projects all over the world, including military bases and prisons, seaports, airports and highly secured and complex areas. Oleg holds a B.A. in Criminology and started his IT career working for his country Police Department, later making a transition into Cybersecurity and Homeland Security with many projects under his responsibility including designing and building big network infrastructures, server and domain environments, implementing and maintaining cybersecurity and security systems. Oleg also holds several network, system and cybersecurity certifications and his latest hobby is penetration testing.

Peter has a background in object-oriented development and IT-security. He has experience working on projects that involve cryptography and is well-versed in the RSA algorithm. He is driven to acquire new knowledge and improve his abilities every day.

Ulrich SITAMZE

Ulrich SITAMZE

Ulrich SITAMZE is a cybersecurity expert with over 6 years of experience in the field of information security, holding numerous certifications such as CCT, CEH, CEH Practical, CEH Master, SOC-200, CCTA, CCTH, eJPT, CISCO CyberOps and more. Ulrich embarked on his professional journey as a Network and System Technician, swiftly showcasing his expertise in troubleshooting network and operating system issues. This initial experience fueled his desire to pursue further studies in cybersecurity, ultimately earning a Bachelor’s degree in Network Administration and Security.

Following his Bachelor’s degree, Ulrich began working with multiple telecommunications companies in Cameroon, assisting them in securing their Wireless Communications. He later continued his journey in France, where he has obtained his Master’s degree, specializing in Cyber Defense and joining one of the largest insurance companies in Europe. Over the years, he has engaged in various projects aimed at securing network and system infrastructures. During this time, he honed essential skills such as designing secure architectures, threat analysis, security incident management, penetration testing, implementing advanced security technologies, and more.

Thanks to his technical expertise and ability to stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, Ulrich has become a trusted pillar within the various teams he has collaborated with. He has also contributed significantly to the education of numerous cybersecurity students, covering topics such as Networking, Virtualization, Security, and Telecommunications.

Beyond his professional work, Ulrich is a cybersecurity enthusiast, passionate about cybersecurity, and continues to explore new approaches to protect systems and data against ever-evolving threats.

Utku YILDIRIM

Utku YILDIRIM

Utku, with a passion spanning over eight years in the cybersecurity realm, holds a pivotal role as a Red Teamer / Penetration Tester at Hoffmann Cybersecurity in the Netherlands. Rooted in a robust academic background as a Computer Engineer, Utku’s commitment to enhancing digital security is evident in the discovery and reporting of 3 CVEs. Furthermore, his proficiency is underscored by an impressive suite of industry accreditations, including the EC-Council’s CCT, CEH Master, LPT Master, CSA, and CNDA certifications, and the revered Offensive Security’s OSCE, OSCP, and OSWP certifications. Beyond technical prowess, Utku has extended his expertise to the broader cybersecurity community, delivering keynote sessions at distinguished conferences such as DEF CON 30, DEF CON 31, and BSides Oslo. This fusion of hands-on experience, academic foundation, and industry acknowledgments solidifies Utku’s position as a vanguard in the dynamic field of cybersecurity.

The specific duties and responsibilities of the SC members include:

  • Approve key policies governing the operation of EC-Council Certification Division.
  • Assuring consistency of decision making as well as the criteria used therein.
  • Serve on appeals and complaints task groups as appointed by the SC Chair.
  • Promote and provide guidance to promote EC-Council certifications.
  • Provide guidance regarding international initiatives supporting EC-Council certifications.
  • Provide guidance to support educational initiatives related to EC-Council certifications.
  • Determine areas of research required to improve EC-Council certifications.
  • Serve on task forces / subcommittees as appointed by the SC Chair.
