With over 15 years of cybersecurity expertise, I have diverse experience across IT, Petrochemical, Telecommunication, MSSP, and Banking sectors. I’ve established and strengthened information security functions, building Security Operation Centers (SOCs) in both Telecom and IT environments. My core expertise includes strategic cybersecurity projects, Security Acceptance tests, Vulnerability management systems, Networking Security Technologies, and Security Solutions.

In self-motivated environments, I specialize in International Telecommunication Networks (3G, 4G, 5G), IMS, IPS/IDS, Signaling firewall, and NFV security. I’ve led Digital Security Transformation projects, zero-trust implementations, Cloud Security enhancements, Data Leakage Prevention programs, GRC initiatives, Data Center Security fortifications, Next-Gen Antivirus solutions, Email security enhancements, Insider Threat management, web proxy implementations, vulnerability management systems, Network Access control deployments, and Next-Gen SIEM deployments.

I integrate AI/ML, Big Data, and Cloud into security frameworks, automating SIEM processes. I conduct threat hunting, malware analysis, and forensics. I develop security strategies, manage awareness programs, design robust architectures, and orchestrate incident responses. My career includes managing compliance, legal requirements, and tendering processes without business disruptions. I provide strategic risk guidance, evaluate controls, and engage with RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and tendering.

I’ve built, led, and optimized high-performing Cyber Security teams, enhancing team performance and nurturing talent. My history includes building value-added security services, boosting customer ARPU.

Andrew has over 20 years of technology experience, with the last decade focused on governance, cybersecurity, and technology risk management. Industries experience include Financial Services, Education Management, Logistics and Technology. Andrew has experience supporting regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. He is currently in a regional technology governance role supporting several technology units and cybersecurity. His previous experience includes leading cybersecurity in two niche MNCs and varied positions in Information Security Management, Enterprise Resiliency, Project Portfolio Management, Technology Architecture, and Professional Services. Whenever the opportunity arises, he has tried to give back in recent years by actively volunteering for organizations such as PMI, ISC2, ISACA, and EC-Council. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Andrew has updated himself via self-study, formal education, and certifications. A Computer Science graduate, he holds Master’s degrees in Information Security, MIS, and Finance. In addition, Andrew also has a doctorate in business and a postgraduate diploma in Strategy and Innovation. Besides EC-Council’s CCISO, Andrew also completed the CISO executive certificate at Carnegie Mellon University. He holds several certifications that include CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE, CCSK, CEH, ECSA, CND, CTIA, CIPM, CSM, PMP, SABSA SCF, ITIL V3 Expert, ITIL V4 MP and ITIL V4 SL.

My contributions have extended to assisting organizations in establishing their Application Security (AppSec) departments, offering guidance and mentorship to their teams.

With 12 years of professional experience, I have embarked on a diverse career journey that began as a network engineer and evolved into a seasoned cybersecurity expert. In 2014, I made a strategic pivot into the cybersecurity realm, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working across various industries and countries, including Lebanon, UAE, and France.

My commitment to excellence is reflected in the multiple certifications I hold, which attest to my dedication to staying current in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity. Along the way, I’ve honed my skills in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, actively contributing to organizations’ defensive capabilities.

My current focus lies in cybersecurity consulting, with a specialization in Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC). Within this niche, I assist organizations in establishing robust security strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and effectively managing risks.

Foluso Oyelakin holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Lagos. He is a member of ISACA, ISC2 and PMI. Currently, Mr. Oyelakin works for a successful information technology and cybersecurity consultancy serving European Clients. His clients include multiple FTSE-250 and European Companies across multiple Industry verticals (such as Banking, Finance, Telecommunications, Legal. Oil and Gas).

He has demonstrated proven success in implementing, operating, managing and ensuring continuous improvement in information security in complex enterprises, utilizing detailed knowledge of security tools, technologies and best practices.

He also holds numerous industry certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CDPSE, CHFI, CEH, ECSA and TOGAF. He also holds a master’s degree in data communications systems from Brunel University London.

Rory Ebanks

Rory Ebanks has over 14 years of experience in information security and IT audit. Mr. Ebanks earned an M.Sc. in Cyber Security from EC Council University and a B.Sc. in Computing & Information Technology from the University of Technology. He is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA), Certified Network Defender (CND), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Cyber Security Nexus (CSX) and Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900). Mr. Ebanks started as a Senior Information Technology Security Consultant in 2012, was promoted to Information Technology Audit & Security Advisory in 2017, and transitioned to Director of IT Security Advisory in 2018. In this role, he provides daily direction for IT Advisory & Assurance service lines. Mr. Ebanks performs risk management assessments to align information security programs and defines, implements, and manages IT Security governance processes. He provides leadership, training opportunities, and guidance to IT security team members. Mr. Ebanks also works closely with the Business Development team to identify market opportunities and service expansion relating to IT Security. He consults on projects including IT general controls, business process reviews, automated controls reviews, business continuity planning, data analytics support and training, incident response and digital forensics investigations, network, web and application vulnerability and penetration testing, and security controls assessment surrounding critical business systems. Prior to joining Symptai, Mr. Ebanks worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Information Technology Auditor. In this capacity, he performed SAP and legacy system review to ensure business objectives were met. Mr. Ebanks was responsible for all aspects of the audit process and performed testing on the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of IT general controls. He also assessed security controls surrounding critical business systems which included, reviews of security parameters on operating database systems, as well as applications. Mr. Ebanks is a member of the Audit Committee at Passport, Immigration & Citizenship Agency (PICA) and a member of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Network & Security Course of Study Advisory Committee at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Mr. Ebanks is a special member of the Item Writers Group for the renowned certifications – Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) & Certified Network Defender (CND). He served the ISACA Kingston chapter between January 2017 – January 2020 as the Certification Director where he has facilitated a CISA Workshop/Study Session and have made numerous presentations on the importance of Certifications to the University of Technology scholars

Toluwani Akinniyi’s career ambition is to utilize cybersecurity as an enabler to support business and increase enterprise value. He is a dedicated and highly skilled cybersecurity specialist passionate about protecting digital assets and combating cyber threats. With a solid background in information security and a deep understanding of evolving cyber risks, Toluwani has established himself as a trusted expert in the field. Toluwani continues to leverage his expertise to help organizations protect their valuable assets and maintain a strong security posture in an increasingly interconnected digital landscape.

Over the years, Toluwani has worked with various organizations, including Banks, Financial Technology establishments, and Consulting Firms. He has led the implementation and management of several security standards, such as PCI DSS, PCI PIN Security, PCI 3DS, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301. Toluwani has also had professional experience in roles such as Information Systems Auditing, Information Technology Risk Advisory, IT Compliance and Governance, Cyber Security Management, and Security Operations Management. He currently works as a Data Risk Advisor with Deloitte UK. Toluwani also holds relevant professional certifications such as the EC-Council, Certified Chief Information Security Officer (C|CISO), Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), Certified Security Analyst (E|CSA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISC2 Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).

The specific duties and responsibilities of the SC members include:

  • Approve key policies governing the operation of EC-Council Certification Division.
  • Assuring consistency of decision making as well as the criteria used therein.
  • Serve on appeals and complaints task groups as appointed by the SC Chair.
  • Promote and provide guidance to promote EC-Council certifications.
  • Provide guidance regarding international initiatives supporting EC-Council certifications.
  • Provide guidance to support educational initiatives related to EC-Council certifications.
  • Determine areas of research required to improve EC-Council certifications.
  • Serve on task forces / subcommittees as appointed by the SC Chair.
