What is the IoT Security Essentials (I|SE) program?
IoT Security Essentials (I|SE) is a comprehensive guide to securing Internet of Things (IoT) systems. This course covers everything from IoT fundamentals to advanced security threats and security engineering, providing you with the knowledge and skills to design, deploy, and maintain secure IoT solutions.
Enhance your learning with CTF-based Capstone Projects and validate your skills through proctored exams. This course equips candidates to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks in IoT environments with 15 labs, 8 hours of premium video training, and 11 modules of industry-aligned content.
EC-Council’s IoT Security Essentials Series offers thorough coverage of crucial topics for securing IoT systems. You will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to design, deploy, and maintain secure IoT solutions by learning about IoT fundamentals, networking and communication protocols, cloud integration, threat intelligence, incident response, and security engineering principles through both theoretical learning and hands-on exercises.
A key feature of this course is the capstone project with CTF challenges, where you will demonstrate your ability to think critically, apply your knowledge, and use hands-on skills to solve various challenges within a realistic (yet controlled) target system. By the end of this course, you will have the expertise needed to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks in IoT environments, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of IoT systems and data.
