CEH v10 is excellent and covers most of the latest topics especially with the inclusion of IOT, Cloud Security, AI, machine learning. Also the tools that are deprecated are removed from the syllabus. I did the CEH training in e-learning. I was a excellent experience. The course is very good build .Labs are also good and in particular to switch between environment as I didn’t have for example the same layout and country. In short, I advice this course for future motivated people.

There are many upsides to the official CEH Certification by EC-Council. Even though the certificate gives extended job oppotunities and prove that the student has a certain skill level; what I found most important is that it covers most – if not all – parts of a penetration test. I have attended CEH which was the fist step to achieve LPT. Some say CEH is not necessary to achieve LPT but I would say if you truly want to learn the basic concepts about Ethical Hacking, you must take the course. Having done a number of security related coursed, included SANS, I’ve found the CEH course to be a refreshing change.
Personally, I’m not a very academic person. So learning in a hands-on way is much more up my alley. This was very much the case on CEH. The course was strongly lab driven and at times, the labs had information that was deliberately missing so that you have to do away and work out the solution for yourself, rather than simply belt feeding us the information. “Click here, then type this command” isn’t good for anyone. So this method of learning really was a refreshing change.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the CEH course. I feel that I took a lot from it, and I would definitely recommend it to other security professionals.

CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) is a certification that is highly valued by companies, especially abroad. In France it is just beginning to gain recognition. This is a certification that is available to professionals who have at least 2 years’ experience in IT Security. There are 19 modules that are made up of 40 hours of training included in the ESAIP training. We are taught to become hackers, find vulnerabilities in websites, servers or networks; and to implement security procedures. Personally, I worked flat out for four months to take the exam in March just before I left for my internship. The rest of my class will take it in September when they come back for their oral presentations. The EC-Council course is very informative and has the subject covered very well. There is so much information in the course that it is hard to cover it all, but we did get to them. The most important topics were given the right amount of time as well. I especially enjoyed the method of having virtual machines on each computer that allowed us to be either the ethical hacker or the target machine.
